Bolle claims the Bolt was designed for cycling. But the Bolt is far from a one-trick pony. Our sample came with the photochromatic NXT Photo V3 lens (which was designed specifically for the golf course). When combined, the frame and lens works well for at least three sports in our humble opinions. Sure, you can ride and golf in these. But you can also hit the road and trail in your running togs and be more than satisfied with the Bolt.

The Bolle Bolt sunglasses cover a wide field of view. The two lenses are interchangeable with others to cover an even broader range of conditions. We liked the photochromatic NXT lens for its versatility in almost any light condition.

Fit for the Bolle Bold was exceptional. Although a tiny bit wide for a medium-sized runner, they gripped well at both the temple and nose. The nose piece is adjustable too. We never noticed any fogging during our runs as the ventilation was good all around. The Bolt comes with a hard case (capable of handling two additional sets of lenses) and soft storage pouch.

If you’re looking for a photochromatic option, give these a shot.
