Top Sports Ear Bud Reviews

Skullcandy X-1 Yurbud

Want to take your tunes outside? Well those standard-issue ear buds that came with your iPod or iPhone still leave a lot to be desired. When you decide it’s time to upgrade we suggest looking for a number of things in your next purchase: sweat and water resistance; long (at least 40 inches) tangle-free cord; and an in-ear or over-the-ear design that prevents the ear buds from falling out.

Here are three that meet that criteria:

Skullcandy Chops – The bargain of the group at under $20 MSRP. Good sound quality and an over-the-ear design that stays put. See review.

X-1 Momentum – These small in-ear models are weatherproof and sweat proof. They are also the only products in our test to include an inline mic and volume control. See review.

Yurbud Inspire Duro – The company’s Twistlock design keeps these in-ear products where they should be at all times. See review.
