Out of the box, the Marmot Genesis is very cool. I chose the bright green which is definitely eye catching. The Genesis also has a bright silver reflective seam accent and logo treatment that dresses the otherwise monochrome jacket up quite a bit.

Crystal Basin is located in the Eldorado National Forest, roughly 20 miles outside of Placerville on US Highway 50. There are numerous small streams with great fishing and camping in the area. One of my latest discoveries is Silver Creek.
