Thank the snow gods – more than 30 inches of the white fluffy stuff fell the last week of February in Tahoe. But with temps on the mountain zooming into the mid-50s, it might not last long. So what are you waiting for? Get in the car and get up there. But before you do, get yourself a good pair of Spring skiing gloves like those below:

Outdoor Research Extravert Glove – There’s nothing fancy about these lightweight gloves, just straightforward function and the right amount of wool-blend insulation. See review.

Sierra Designs Transporter Glove – Dang, I love the look of tanned goat leather. Combine that with a synthetic softshell at the knuckles and a few more features and you have a killer Spring glove. See review.

Smartwool Spring Glove – We fell in love with these Smartwool products last season and they still rank way up there for performance and comfort. See review.

Depending your preferences, one of these gloves should do the trick in the last month of the season. Enjoy those blue bird days!

Thanks for reading another outdoor gear review from GearGuide. And thanks to Outdoor Research, Sierra Designs and Smartwool, along with Backbone Media and Verde PR, for providing product for these reviews. Written by Matt K.
