Father’s Day is around the corner. If you’re still looking for ideas for your outdoor enthusiast Dad, look no further. Here are four suggestions – all between $80 and $165 – for the guy who loves to get outside.

HuMn Wallet

The HuMn Wallet is definitely not your granddaddy’s money clip. Instead, the HuMn Wallet Mini delivers the carrying capacity of a standard wallet with a fraction of the bulk. It has two plates that deliver RFID skimming protection and in optional carbon fiber are beautiful to look at. I’ve banged mine around for quite a while now and seen not a single sign of wear. Umpqua Ledges 500 Waist Pack

Umpqua ac_ledges500-11_sm_cr_fs_0

Fly fishing stalwart Umpqua got into the pack, vest and bag businesses about a year ago. Man, I’m impressed with their products. And Dad will be too. The Ledges 500 Waist Pack is the smaller of their options, but is jammed with clever and useful features. It’s got a metal brace for comfort, pockets for tippet, fly boxes, water bottles, hemostats and much more. There are lash points, key clips and special zipper pulls. If Dad is a fisherman, Umpqua Ledges 500 may be the ticket. Need more storage, go for the Deadline 3500. See full review.

Jabra Sport Wireless+ Headphones

So wired or wireless? I’d say the Jabra Sport Wireless+ makes a pretty good case for dumping those old wired headphones. There are compromises in sound quality and limited battery life. But it’s truly hard to beat the convenience of wireless. They work on virtually every phone with Bluetooth and iPods, iPads and the like. Dad will dig ‘em. See full review.

Opedix Core-Tec Shorts

Is Dad getting a little older or just want a little more stability around the mid-section? If that’s the case and he’s working out and running, then check out the Opedix Core-Tec shorts. We had a chance to try them recently and did find that the heavy duty stretch fabric and multi-panel construction did a nice job of keeping the back and hips supported. They run true to size. Find them at www.opedix.com.
