Out of the box, the Cloudveil Koven Plus definitely is a class act. I buy that it’s great for alpine use and backcountry camping but its so lightweight that it makes me question its real suitability for hardcore skiing and snowboarding.

Out of the box, the Marmot Genesis is very cool. I chose the bright green which is definitely eye catching. The Genesis also has a bright silver reflective seam accent and logo treatment that dresses the otherwise monochrome jacket up quite a bit.
